Cute bike, the rear fender had a scuff on it (which I found when I removed the protective wrap, so obviously it was already there). My dad is a mechanic and has a shop and lots of skills, so he had to machine/repair the threads on the handlebar assembly bolt to be able to assemble this. The attachments of fender to bike are very flimsy, not sure how long they will last. The quality of one of the welds was such that we couldn't really get the fender bracket on one side to be in the correct position. Luckily my father is extremely handy, and has his own tools (this does not come with all the tools you need to assemble it). With a good bit of mechanical "tweaking" and fixing by him, we finally got it up and running. We inflated the tires, and indeed, the wheel is out of round just as stated in other reviews and apparently out of true per my father. Unsure of whether it would work or not, I took it for a spin. It was lightweight and rides just like a typical beach bike and really a sweet ride, so we will go ahead and give it to my daughter for Christmas. However, the quality is so sketchy, we will see how it does after a few days. This bike looks better in the pictures than the quality is in reality. We hope it lasts through the summer, that's about all we expect from it. If you're not extremely handy, better get a bike locally that is already assembled!

Poorly designed, broken piece upon opening.
We were never able to attach the front wheel guard due to a manufacturing error on one of the pieces. The bike is not very strong and seems shaky and squeaky even with my tiny daughter on it. The dimensions are off, and if you turn the wheel sharply you will hit your own foot on the pedal. Very disappointed, though my daughter has gotten used to its incongruities. When I was a kid, Diamondback was great quality and we all wanted to have one, now it is just typical cheap Chinese crap.

Cool,Pretty. Pretty cool.
We gave this bike to our 10 year old daughter for her birthday. She absolutely flipped out over it! We are kind of a beach cruiser family and she needed one that fit her. She is 55" tall and this bike fits her perfectly. Feels very solid and not cheesy (I rode it around the block and I am over 200 lbs). Super cool girly graphics and paint job. She gets compliments on this sweet bike even from BOYS! OMG! There are cheaper bikes out there but remember you get what you pay for. We paid for a good one and we got one. Everyone is happy.

A Big Disappointment X 2
I was excited about this bike because of the look and the positive reviews. It arrived with damage to the frame, lots of scratch marks that don't rub or wash off. Assembly was reasonable, but upon spinning the front wheel, it was very wobbly. That was it for me, going back. It did look pretty sharp, though, so instead of returning it, I requested a replacement. It arrived two days later. This one was worse than the first. The box of the second one was only stapled together, whereas the box of the first was stapled and then sealed with carton sealing tape. This suggests that the box of the first had been resealed and possibly sent out and returned before I got it. I opened the second and found it had the same kind of frame scratches as the first, plus the white walls on the tires were very dirty and scratched and would not rub out. P.S. Same wobbly wheel issue. Even if it could be righted by adjusting the spokes as another reviewer did, this is still unacceptable. The fact it had no kickstand didn't help.

Simple, no-frills cruiser bike
Pros: fit my 10-year-old just fine, and it looks kind of cool. The price was right. Cons: it's rather cheaply constructed, it's heavy, it rattles quite a bit, and there was a fender bolt missing from the hardware.

Terrible quality - would have been better going to walmart
Unfortunately this arrived with a 1-inch gash in the seat, and holes in both the tire tubes. I could believe that the seat gash was caused during shipping, but holes in the tubes is just due to poor quality control. No time to go through a return, so off to my local bike store to spend some more money and complete the deal. Hurts me to say it, but I would have been better off going to walmart on this one.

Wobbly front wheel.
Received bike with no damage or missing parts, screws, or bolts. Bike was pretty easy to assemble without using instructions. Only problem I had was with the front wheel. It wobbled like crazy. I had to go through every spoke on the wheel and tighten or loosen them accordingly in order to straighten (or true) the wheel. Doing that added an additional hour of labor.

No kickstand and the rear fender is scratched and bent.
Of course the bike needed assembly; I am fine with that and overall it came together pretty well. The rear fender (though wrapped) was bent and scratched. Hey this is not a used bike. We should expect that the packaging will protect the materials through shipping. Lastly, I was dissatisfied by the lack of kickstand. OF course I can order one through Amazon at additional expense but this should be a standard part on any bike. We bought a Schwinn for the other daughter. Every part of the packaging and assembly was better; plus it has a kick stand.
