I would not recommend for 14.5 laptops.

The description says "water resistant" not "waterproof." It is probably not designed to protect against immersion in water because that's not a likely scenario for a laptop. It will protect against water being spilled on the case. More expensive cases, like Pelican (which specializes in diving gear) are designed to protect gear from immersion, but that's probably not what you want because they're also much bulkier.
