Review: Versatile for the trucker and traveler - This is a mobile printer that I use for my business. I'm an owner operator truck driver. This stores well in a cabinet in my truck. I set it up on the bed and it prints quick and beautifully. I have not had issues with paper jams, even when I'm scanning paper that just dried or got crumpled. On some occasions, you have to feed one page at a time for scanning, but that has to do with the condition of the paper. It's low capacity, so you can only feed about 15 pages at a time for scanning or printing. With the HP printing program, you can make one big file with 100+ pages, I've done it. The only issue I have is that it does not connect well with my notebook, but I can't blame this on the printer, the notebook is probably 5-8 years old. Setup is easy for wifi, I connect it to my hotspot or the notebook directly to the printer in certain instances.
Review: Amazing - Print on the Go: HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer "Wireless" - I recently purchased the HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer and I have to say, it has made my life so much easier. As someone who is always on-the-go, the ability to print from both my phone and laptop has been a game changer. Setting up the printer was a breeze, thanks to its wireless and mobile printing capabilities. This feature allows me to seamlessly print from my phone or laptop without having to connect any cords or wires. Plus, the printer's compact size makes it extremely portable, making it perfect for travel or taking to meetings. The quality of prints is also impressive. The colors are vibrant and the text is crisp, just like any traditional printer. I am able to print documents, photos, and even scan important files all in one device. One of my favorite features of this printer is its long battery life. I can easily print multiple pages without having to worry about constantly charging it. This has saved me so much time and frustration. Overall, I highly recommend the HP OfficeJet 250 - All-in-One Portable Printer for anyone who needs a reliable and convenient printing solution. It truly lives up to its name as "Print on the Go." Amazing product!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you print over bluetooth?**
A: Although I’ve paired my phone & printer via Bluetooth -- printer does not print vial Bluetooth - only WiFi or WiFi-direct (which is a pain bc u cannot be on the interned via WiFi & print using WiFi-direct! simultaneously).

You must print your “saved” page “off.line” via WiFi/direct! Bluetooth would have been a handy feature to use printing when online via WiFi!!!

**Q: Can u charge this machine in the car using the USB cord?**
A: Yes, but a printer specific USB port on the rear of the printer must be used, requiring purchase of the necessary cables and/or adapters. According to the User Guide:Charging the battery using AC power can take up to 2.5 hours. If AC power is removed and the printer is turnedoff, the battery can also be charged when the USB port on the rear of the printer is connected to the chargingUSB port of another device. The charging USB port must be able to supply a minimum of 1 ampere. For example:1- USB charging port on a notebook computer (identified by a lightning symbol near the host port)2- USB charger that is connected to a wall outlet (can be generic or one used for mobile phones or tablets)3- USB charger that is connected to the power port in a car (can be generic or one used for mobile phonesor tablets)

**Q: The description says: "Main functions of this HP all-in-one portable printer: scan, copy, fax, easy portable printing wherever you need it" -- fax???**
A: This printer does not have a modem on it, so it can not fax. The index in the user guide jumps from E to H, no F, no Fax. The HP How-To page for the HP 250 printer does not list fax. You could use the printer to scan to an eFax service though. This is a great printer in all other aspects.

**Q: does this printer work with iphones or air print**
A: I didn’t even have to install an app. You set it up in the settings of your iPhone, which probably links it by WiFi, but I don’t think it even asks. If I want to print from my iPhone, I just tap print, and this printer shows up as an available printer. Tap to confirm, and whatever you wanted to print, is printed immediately. I also added it to my iPad, and my MacBook Pro, and it works great.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best printer I have ever owned!
*by S***) on August 21, 2026*

I have had this printer for 8 years, and it is still going strong. The print quality is amazing, and the cartridges seem to last a decent amount of time. I love that I can tuck this printer away so it is not sitting out on a counter. I have a carrying case, so it is easy to transport. I highly recommend this printer to anyone!
