I had them up for years until I had to move just recently. I used them like an actual light in my room so they were on pretty much all the time, and it took at least 3 years before small sections started to go out and not hold the proper colors anymore. They were easy to put up, but it did have trouble with getting them over the corners in my room. The adapter and plug in are long, so theres plenty of length from the plug and where you want to stick the lights. They were good quality lights especially for the price, and they were super easy to control. I prefered to use the app because you could customize your colors more accurately than with the remote, and you could sink your lights to music as well.
