Review: It's made all the difference in the world to this senior woman. Great idea. - I bought 3 for my doors, and 1 for a window. They are loud, but isn't that the point? They are sensitive. Mine go off if there's a real noisy car or motorcycle that goes by the house. It's goes off when desertcart leaves a package. Thunder can make it go off. Any vibration. I don't get why anyone is annoyed that it's doing it's job. Better safe than sorry. They last long. You can have an alarm, kinda like a squad car, or a loud beep like an alarm clock, or have it off. It takes 3 AAA batteries. For $6.00 it's a steal. You can check your phone camera if you have it connected to an outdoor camera. I just use my peep hole in my door. I trust Sabre. I've used their spray for decades. For my window in my dark area, I just hang it on the window lock.

We are staying in an airbnb and wanted to feel a bit more safe while traveling with our 3 kids. We had this product on the front door and on our second night there, it went off. My son and I went to check it out and found that while the deadbolt was in fact locked(no lock on the door nob itself), the door had still been pushed open a bit. I pushed the door back closed all of the way and was so thankful for this product. I don't know who was on the other side of the door, but because of this product, they didn't get in.

**Q: I want to alarm my door when I'm out.  When I return, will the alarm go off or will I have a few seconds to disarm it?**
A: There is not an entry delay. The alarm sounds when you touch the handle.  You can open the door and shut off the alarm.  It is ideal for when you are at home and someone is trying to enter.  The sound can deter them and alert you to an intrusion.

A: Uses 3 AAA batteries, not included.

**Q: I have steel security bars around the house. Will it go off if someone wants to break the security bars ?**
A: Just wanting to break in, wont cause it to go off. It requires vibration.

I bought this product and also their door stop alarm for a trip down to NC for a family wedding. We are staying in an airbnb and wanted to feel a bit more safe while traveling with our 3 kids. We had this product on the front door and on our second night there, it went off. My son and I went to check it out and found that while the deadbolt was in fact locked(no lock on the door nob itself), the door had still been pushed open a bit. I didn't use this on a door knob, I just set it by the door so it would be knocked over and go off when the door was opened.It works well for that. After about 5 weeks it went off in the middle of the knight and I reset it and it went off again. The next day I checked the series voltage of the batteries. It measured just over 3 volts. It should've been 4.5 volts with three 1.5 volt batteries in series.These were dollar store batteries. I replaced the batteries and it worked like it should have. So apparently it going off is a low battery indicator.
