It helps with the wind for sure, not sure about those 100mph + gusts of wind though so, if anyone got into that kind of environment, please let me know what was your experience. I use this mostly indoors next to my window on my workstation for vlogs. I also did used this on parties with loud DJ's the mic alone does a really good job but, this has helped it even more with crispy sounds. PROs: - Does what it is intended to do for the winds - Looks cool and literally looks like a dead cat Cons: - Calling it dead cat in public with cat lovers sounds like I offended them

A: How r you going to mount the mic on the camera? I don't see a hotshoe mount. this should fit most mics but i thin youre asking another kind of question

A: Maybe.  The Rode VideoMic Go shotgun enclosure (the barrel of the mic itself) is 5 and 1/8th inches long, and about 3/4 of an inch wide.  If the Comica shotgun mic has those dimensions, it might fit.
