Review: it's a natural energy booster with some great libido boost - Purchased this two weeks ago, have been using it every day. I was married to a Brazilian for a decade, and am a huge fan of Guarana. This is exactly the same as we used to bring back from Brazil in the 90's. For people who've never tried Guarana, it's a natural energy booster with some great libido boost. I take about 1/2 teaspoon in the AM before work, and sometimes another serving around 3PM. No real 'crash' like consuming sugar and energy drinks. The product is powdery, takes about 5 minutes to mix into water (just put 1/2 teaspoon in the bottom of a cup, and 5oz water and let it site for 5 minutes, then stir it up). It tastes, well, like dirt - it is a plant after-all. I'm disappointed that some people rated it poorly based on flavor or immediate water solubility, because in my opinion they just didn't know what they were buying. if you want something that WORKS and is HEALTHY give this a try. If you want sweet soda energy products, stay with the Rockstar and Redbull type products. Review: Today for instance I didn't feel like drinking soda or a Rockstar - Every so often I remember I have this powder. Today for instance I didn't feel like drinking soda or a Rockstar. I just wanted to drink some lightly sweetened iced tea. However, I knew that this would not get me through the day. So, I scooped a generous teaspoon into a glass and from the tap a little warm water. Swirled the contents around in the glass then downed it. I backed this up with a small grapefruit slice. This cancels out the aftertaste :) Twenty minutes later ---> !!!BANG!!! I can see where if used every day a body could build up a slight tolerance. This kinda goes for a lot of things right? Bottom line - A great product at a great price. ## Features - Latin/Botanical Name: Paullinia cupana - Origin: Brazil - Kosher Certified - cGMP Compliant (current Good Manufacturing Practices) - 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed - Return Product for any reason for refund or replacement** (See details below) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00ZDO5CUQ | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #55,754 in Health ( See Top 100 in Health ) #199 in Fruits Extract Supplements | | Brand | Starwest Botanicals | | Brand Name | Starwest Botanicals | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 148 Reviews | | Diet Type | Vegan | | Diet type | Vegan | | Item Form | Powder | | Item Package Weight | 0.48 Kilograms | | Item Type Name | food | | Item Weight | 454 g | | Item form | Powder | | Manufacturer | Starwest Botanicals, Inc. | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 767963013262 | | Size | 0.45 kg (Pack of 1) | | Specialty | Kosher Certified | | UPC | 767963013262 | | Unit Count | 16 Grams | | Unit count | 16 Grams | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Starwest Botanicals - **Diet type:** Vegan - **Item form:** Powder - **Specialty:** Kosher Certified - **Unit count:** 16 Grams ## Images ![Starwest Botanicals Guarana Seed Powder, 1 Pound - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81tAMXkwCgL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ it's a natural energy booster with some great libido boost *by T***D on 10 March 2016* Purchased this two weeks ago, have been using it every day. It's a bitter tasting golden brown gritty powder, not water soluble, that you put in capsules or "toss and wash" to achieve the desidered effect of increased focus and energy slowly and steadily increasing and lasting for hours. That's exactly how Guarana acts, looks, smells and tastes. I use Guarana from 2006, I can tell you this batch may be not the freshest but it is legit and the price is good. ## Frequently Bought Together - Starwest Botanicals Guarana Seed Powder, 1 Pound - Starwest Botanicals Kola Nut Powder, 1 Pound - Frontier Co-op Guarana Powder, 1lb Bulk Bag - Pure Powder from Natural Guarana Seeds, Ideal for Energizing Beverages & Guarana Drinks, Kosher --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/371576561-starwest-botanicals-guarana-seed-powder-1-pound](https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/371576561-starwest-botanicals-guarana-seed-powder-1-pound) --- *Product available on Desertcart Oman* *Store origin: OM* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
