That said, there are pearls of wisdom and factoids I have not found in any other books or periodicals. I recently spent the better part of 2 days researching what should have been a simple explanation for yet another of Microsoft’s horrible error codes and/or statements. Obviously, common tasks and task definitions have undergone major changes to support Windows8. One obscure change is the definition of event handlers. Chas. Examples demonstrated the correct syntax and format which I was unable to locate on any sites to date. Bravo Chas….. As a reference and modeling guide you could not do better. My only issue is the lack of color( which of course is rather poor considering that Microsoft is the publisher). Money well spent at twice the price.
