Worked perfectly on the trip i bought it for (Japan). Just bought a country data pack before I left, turned it on at arrival and was up and running.Data saving tip - I disabled auto app updates over wifi on my device beforehand, also make sure you set the wifi connection as metered (so it will choose a non metered in preference e.g. the hotel wifi once set up). These are the main reasons i can think of where people have said data gets used so quickly. Because its a wifi connection, your phone will do things that it normally would not do via 4g so disabling that will stop potentially many GB being used without you realising.I was cautious at first in how much i used it (from other reviews). But its clear how much data is left using the app or the device IP in a browser, so was able to start using it much more like I do normally, and i found it lasted well (just don't do a lot of social media video as that will eat it quick, some use was fine).Battery lasted really well, it was on 14+ hours some days and was still working at end.As others have said, data costs are fairly expensive (but clear, check their website for where you want to use it), some countries more so than others, but its very convenient and hopefully data comes down.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, very easy to set up and use. Incredibly convenient when you're staying somewhere without Internet. It is quite expensive to use, and the data gets used up remarkably quickly,, but you're paying for the massive convenience it provides of being able to log on from anywhere. I just used it for texts and emails and reading the newspaper headlines, which kept the cost manageable.

Bought it to have mobile wifi in North Wales where usual network signals are weak. Also running out of mobile data (expensive top up) as there was no wifi at our stay. So far working well. Compact, portable even in ladies small hand bad, light , good signal. Data top up cheaper than O2 I am with.

I purchased this to go to America to use when there was no wifi to use. This is fantastic as its easy to set up which you have to do before you go abroad and then purchase packages for your trip. This is secure and you can use it anywhere the signal is brilliant & its secure. Would definitely recommend this mobile wifi.

Used in Andalusia Spain.Unfortunately it did not pick up a strong enough signal. Our mobile phones were better.

I bought it for a trip to Japan, I purchased a 30 day data package for Japan, when I got there I switched on the unit and it all worked, no fuss.

lo strumento funziona piuttosto bene, la batteria dura precchio e ci si connette anche a distanza il problema sono i prezzi dei pack che in molti paesi sono eccessivamente alti a volte anche il doppio di una normale esim, potrebbe essere un ottimo prodotto se restasse in linea con i prezzi del mercato, invece se ne approfittano esageratamente chiedendo anche 10 euro per un solo giga in alcuni paesi, questo rende il prodotto mediocre, non avesse lo slot sim lo restituirei subito, ma posso usarlo anche con sim quindi in molti paesi acquistero una sim dati piuttosto che utilizzare i loro pacchetti, se lo acquistate solo per i pacchetti lasciate stare, le esim costano la metà

Viene con 1Gb de datos pero si a través de la aplicación te pones en contacto online con un agente te regalan 8Gb mas.Yo lo he llevado fuera de España pero igualmente dentro de la Comunidad Europea.He comprado una tarjeta de teléfono con internet sin limite por 10€ para un mes, he desbloqueado el PIN, he insertado la tarjeta en el dispositivo, he contactado un agente y me ha explicado como la puedo activar, me ha costado un poco pero merece plenamente el esfuerzo. Actualmente estoy conectado con el portátil, veo pelis a través de Amazon Video, YouTube, etc. y todo con perfecta calidad.La verdad que estoy super contento y no paro de decirlo.100% recomendable
