Its durable aluminum core with silicone padding ensures stable, controlled pressure using your body weight, making it a compact, travel-friendly solution backed by a 15-year warranty. ## Description Note: Because this is a body-weight–driven deep-pressure tool, early sessions may feel intense or unfamiliar. Sensitivity is normal and decreases as muscles adapt. Note: This material combination is essential for deep myofascial work and is not comparable to soft, surface-level massagers or vibration-based devices. Muscles the tool can effectively engage: Discomfort patterns commonly improved through releasing these trigger points: Note: Deep muscle groups like the levator, QL, psoas, and infraspinatus may feel particularly sensitive at first. This reflects true trigger-point compression and typically eases with repeated short sessions. Note: This is a deep, body-weight–based trigger-point tool. It is intentionally powerful and most suitable for users who need precise, intensive pressure—not for those preferring light massage. Using on the Floor: Using on a Chair: Why does this feel stronger than my other massage tools? Because it is designed to reach deep muscle layers with body-weight–driven pressure, similar to a therapist’s elbow. • How do I reduce the pressure? Use a towel, shorten the session, lift your torso slightly, or change the angle. • Why is this better than a massage gun? Massage guns mainly affect surface tissue. This tool reaches deep, stationary trigger points under the scapula, thoracic muscles, QL, and psoas—areas guns cannot access. • Will it move on the floor? No. The weighted silicone exterior provides excellent stability. • How long until I feel improvement? Most users feel better mobility and reduced tightness after several short sessions as the fascia softens. • Is this suitable for beginners? Beginners can use it, but should start gently. It is primarily designed for users who prefer deep pressure. Note: Best suited for users who prefer firm, therapist-like pressure and want a tool that can reach deep, hard-to-access trigger points. ## Features - DEEP, SELECTIVE PRESSURE: Six raised contact points approach deep, hard-to-reach muscle knots from different heights and angles for more focused pressure than broad massage surfaces. - TWO PRESSURE PROFILES: Flip or reposition the tool to choose between broader contact and more concentrated pressure around the shoulder blades, upper back and other muscular areas. - BODY-WEIGHT CONTROLLED: Use your own body weight to gradually adjust pressure while seated or lying down, without continuous hand or arm effort. - ALUMINUM CORE + SILICONE: A high-strength aluminum-alloy frame holds its shape under body weight, while food-grade silicone provides grip and controlled cushioning. - FOR STUBBORN MUSCLE KNOTS: Designed for firm, sustained pressure around the scapula, levator scapulae, QL, glutes and hip-flexor areas. Non-electric and backed by a 15-year warranty. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B09S3BGY12 | | Best Sellers Rank | #377 in Manual Back Massagers | | Date First Available | February 9, 2022 | | Item Model Number | DT-01 | | Manufacturer | LittleMum Care | | Product Dimensions | 9.8 x 9.8 x 3.1 inches; 1.31 pounds | ## Product Details - **Brand:** LittleMum - **Item Weight:** 1.3 pounds - **Material:** Aluminum with Silicone Padding - **Power Source:** Non-Electronic - **Use for:** Back, Body, Hip, Shoulder ## Images ![Shoulder Deep Tissue Massager, Psoas Release Tool, Muscle Knots - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71aq4dznAGL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective, light-weight, compact device *by on Reviewed in the United States July 31, 2023* I was impressed with the quality of the product and how light it was immediately upon opening it. With a wide range of uses based on different positions and using different parts of it, I've found it to be very, very helpful and one of my primary go-to massage tools. It can feel so nice that I have to intentionally stop myself to give my body a break and not have too much pressure! :)It can be challenging to get the right pressure in the desired way in certain parts of the body, but to be fair, it's virtually impossible for any device to do everything well. I've found what works well for me. For instance, the deeper trigger point, targeting my lower middle back tends to be most effective while using it against the back of a chair rather than laying on the ground. With the softer, curved side, I find it stretches and aligns my upper back spine better than even the Chirp wheels do. I find these to be complementary with the wheels good for stretching in general, but this massage puts more precise pressure in particular areas, which can be very helpful. It's so light and compact yet soft that it's easy to carry around the house. I'm curious if it would trigger a manual search of luggage if I travel with it for work since it has a metal core (it should have no problems clearing, but I'm guessing it may get flagged on imaging due to its unique shape). I haven't traveled since I had it yet, but its size and efficacy would make it a nice travel companion.I struggled with the price, as others have noted. It's not cheap. But it is good quality with a long warranty. The customer service is very responsive, as I asked a range of questions. I'd be lying if I said I didn't consider returning it in the 30 day window purely because of price. I love this massager, but with some other big purchases around the same time, I was debating returning it to save some money. I kept it, and I really don't regret it. The metal core, great rubbery coating, warranty, multiple applications, and all the development, planning, and testing that had to go into it likely drives this price. I haven't found anything similar to it. So while I'd still like to see a lower price point for broader accessibility, the device itself is very, very good and one I recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It might look like a modern fruit bowl but it's SO MUCH MORE! *by on Reviewed in the United States April 12, 2023* I purchased both this and the Little Mum Trap Trigger Point Massager, and OMG, I'm releasing knots and muscles that only my chiropractor and fascia bodyworker could relieve.I can easily access muscles and knots without using my fingers/hands - thus allowing my body to relax and lean into the release. I've started slowly, and things are starting to release. I've used this for my low back, hips, quads, butt, and pecks. I've added additional stretches to help release my hamstrings and other areas. Not only is my posture while walking improving but my knees and feet are also opening up. This morning was the first day in a long time that I could get out of bed and walk without my feet being tight. This tool allows me to work through my body's mechanical chain of errors. I can't wait to fold in some lacrosse ball action on my feet and forearms to continue the journey. For the first time in a long time, I'm hopeful that I can access and enjoy the mobility of my body again.Thank you Little Mum!This tool is everything since I can no longer go to the chiropractor after having ACDF surgery on my cervical spine. This tool gives me access to relive all the points of tension that cause compression in my neck.I started slowly, not spending too long on it, and focused on relaxing, breathing deep breaths, and tucking my hips. An added bonus is this "lobster's claws" move a bit, making it easy to target other tight spots when I roll to the side. Thanks Little Mum for an amazing affordable product, I can't wait to buy a few more of your products! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Initial expense high but highly recommended it *by on Reviewed in the United States October 27, 2025* This is expensive but they haven’t changed their pricing much for a long time now (that could be good because it was the same high price before the pandemic). It is super durable, don’t plan to break this thing anytime soon and I’m not a featherweight sized person. The orange covering over the aluminum metal is great as it keeps it in place through your clothes, it’s not slipping everywhere.Instructions on using it could be better but did find their short YouTube video to be quite informative.I use this for back spasms and I find that if it’s not working my lower back I actually need to start working the upper back first. I have not used this on the floor but in the bed only and I am able to successfully adjust the amount of pressure/pain that way. This is not pleasant when you’re in pain but I find after being on this for 15-30+ minutes it’s the most relief I can get and better than any chiropractor (with the exception of one chiropractor) Ive had in the past. Also, despite the initial sticker shock chiropractors are now as expensive for one visit. To ensure my knots are gone I often just fall asleep on it (probably not recommended by manufacturer). It’s just an indicator that the initial pain does go away once you’ve successfully worked the trigger points. The design is great because you’re working both sides of the back evenly every time. ## Frequently Bought Together - LittleMum Shoulder Deep Tissue Massager, Psoas Release Tool, Myofascial Trigger Point Release Shoulder Blade Pain, Levator Scapulae Pain, Lower Back Pain,Pelvis Pain, Hip Flexor Pain, Sciatica - LittleMum Trapezius Trigger Point Massager, Myofasical Release Neck and Shoulder Pain, Suboccipital Release Tool, Posture Corrector, Relieve Upper Back Pain &Tension Headache - LittleMum Back Deep Tissue Massager, Back Stretcher, Relieve Low Back Pain, Middle Back Pain and Sciatica, Athletes Muscle Recovery Tool --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/441180454-shoulder-deep-tissue-massager-psoas-release-tool-muscle-knots](https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/441180454-shoulder-deep-tissue-massager-psoas-release-tool-muscle-knots) --- *Product available on Desertcart Oman* *Store origin: OM* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
