You also cannot turn off monitoring without turning you headphones/speakers all the way down ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ CAD Audio CX2 comes through *by L***M on March 1, 2026* The CAD Audio CX2 USB Audio Interface does a great job! I can now record directly to my PC with two channels of clean 24 -bit/96kHz audio. I like that it connects right to my computer without requiring any special drivers and the recordings sound great. I love how portable it is too, and if I want to send more than two audio channels to my PC I can connect my multi-channel mixers output directly into the CAD CX2's two input channels. By using a mixer I can still record a stereo input to my PC but with more than just two microphones or direct instrument inputs. I just need to monitor the "mix" going from my multi-channel audio mixer into the CAD CX2 to know that it is properly balanced between instruments and singers. I also need to monitor the sound so it not too hot (loud) of a signal being sent into the CAD CX2's input channels that will cause clipping and distortion.
