I can only highly recommend people to not hesitate calling on them with any questions, they will assist.When it comes to, for instance this frying pan, it is absolutely NOT non-stick, that is not the nature of Satin Black Enamel. The key here is to always, especially with first uses, is to use fat. Depending what will be cooked, either butter or other fats, or oil with a high smoking point, personally I only ever use a gook quality avocado oil. Using oil/fats not only will help food not to stick all over the pan, but will also with each use build up what you absolutely want: patina.Another absolutely key point with this and other Le Creuset is to never preheat/cook on high setting, but always on low/medium.There is a whole lot more information on advice depending what is going to be cooked in the pan, so my advice would be to contact Le Creuset and ask them any question you may have, as well as have sending you the pdf pertaining to Satin Black Enamel.It is no myth that Le Creuset cast Iron products, including this type, will last at least a lifetime with proper use and care, which is all they require to give you just that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Le Creuset signature Frying pans are wonderful *by B***V on Reviewed in Australia on 1 November 2024* I bought a new Signature Le Creuset Frying pan as they are so long wearing and easy to use.
