Even the deep, burning eyes seemed set amongst the swollen flesh, for the lids and pouches underneath were bloated. It seemed as if the whole awful creature were simply gorged with blood; he lay like a filthy leech, exhausted with his repletion.' Thus Bram Stoker, one of the greatest exponents of the supernatural narrative, describes the demonic subject of his chilling masterpiece Dracula , a truly iconic and unsettling tale of vampirism. Review: A must have for horror fans - Visually striking cover & a memorable grim story. Book arrived on time & is in good condition. Review: Not Collector's Edition Quality (2.5 Stars) - PROS: 1) An affordable way to acquire hardback versions of some true classics. 2) Beautiful cover art and readable, classic font. CONS: (see photos) 1) Although the cover art is lovely, it appears muddy and chalky compared to the photo in desertcart's listing. It's difficult to make out some of the artist's details. 2) Bent, worn corners and spine. Many other reviews have described the same issue, but in all three shipments of books I received copies that were not suitable for display. 3) Poor quality control. Font size differs from book to book. While Dracula and Dr. Jekyll had a size 10 font, Phantom of the Opera was clearly a 14. Likewise, the printing was askew in each book, as the margins varied from page to page and were often crooked. OVERALL: These are a cost-effective, fantastic way to stock up on the classics for the book lover, BUT they are absolutely NOT collector's edition quality. Like many things these days, the lack of care and inconsistency is disheartening. This line of books has the potential to be a great collector's set, but "collector's edition" implies top-of-the-line craftsmanship which these books simply do not have. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #97,939 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #176 in Vampire Horror #1,657 in Horror Occult & Supernatural #3,766 in Classic Literature & Fiction | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 77 Reviews | ## Images ![Dracula (Wordsworth Collector's Editions) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81f68jcRpEL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must have for horror fans *by J***N on July 24, 2023* Visually striking cover & a memorable grim story. It does look relatively nice. Or, at least it would if it were possible to get a pristine copy. Unfortunately even the most minor of dings stand out significantly as white spots. It'll likely have them all around it's edges. There does not appear to be any water damage, yet the entire novel has an warp to its entire volumes pages. The most glaring flaw is the quality. Not that I'm expecting even close to top tier for a $13 book, but it might be the lowest quality book I've found. The cover has a cheap feel and is very thin. The binding feels like it will fall apart after a read or two. If you want a cheap copy that looks good for the price, but don't plan on it seeing a lot of use, this is probably a good option. If you want to read it a lot or pass it around the friends and family, it might be better to look elsewhere, because I don't think it'll hold up. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/470847657-dracula-wordsworth-collectors-editions](https://www.desertcart.com.om/products/470847657-dracula-wordsworth-collectors-editions) --- *Product available on Desertcart Oman* *Store origin: OM* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
