Not only for winter ..
Very comfortable wear for all day. Soft leather with a well-tailored inside. Warm enough on cold days but not typical winter boots. It is a good fit not only for trousers but also for dresses. I am a UK size 8, and it's a perfect fit.

Slightly roomie but so comfortable
I've been looking for new leather ankle boots for over a year but could never find any that were as comfortable as my old Clarks ones, until now! These fitted beautifully straight away. They are slightly more roomie than other Ecco size 6 shoes I have tried, even though they do not say they are a wide fit.I ordered a 6 and may have been able to get away with a 5½ but I can put thicker socks on and/or add an insole if they get any bigger after walking them out. They look very well made and made to last.The leather is super smooth and soft while still being sturdy and the sole is stitched rather than glued.My only gripe is that the pull tab for pulling them on is soo tiny, I can't even fit my pinkie in! It's even too small to comfortably grip between thumb and index finger. So not overly useful.

Ankle boots
Lovely boots but would go for your usually size ,s lot of people say size down but I would I for your usually size

Fantastic comfortable and stylish boot.
I am so thankful for all the other reviewers telling others to go down half a size as am usually a size 4 but got a 3.5 and fits lovely. Wore for 1st time yesterday and so comfy from the start and no pain or blisters in feet at all. Best boot ever bought and looks great. Really good service also as did not have in stock when I ordered but received them a few days later and they kept me updated all the time. Comes well packaged and love them.

Classic
I never write reviews but these boots are everything I've been looking for for years. Quintessential Chelsea boot- no fluff or trendy bit- just a classic boot. And the break in period for these is minimal to nonexistent! I'm just so impressed and so happy I found them.
