Fruit i was dehydrating kept getting stuck on my metal dehydrator grates, I bought these mesh screens and I no longer have any stickage! So far I've done 4 full dehydrators of Pineapple, apples, and bananas and these mesh screens make cleanup a breeze.

These work great in my Breville convection oven. I didn't want to get another appliance for dehydrating and these are easy to cut to size to fit on the oven rack. So far have made mushroom jerky and sliced bananas for snacking.

I got a dehydrator for Christmas this year and of course tried it out on everything. I also spent a lot of time cleaning the stainless steel trays. Not any more, trim to size and add these silicone sheets and all you have to do is rinse and dry.

I specifically purchased this for a project I'm working on to develop very high protein jerky for someone with a medical condition. This will require repetitive use so easy storage and cleanup were critical. My dehydrator racks would not work for the ol' "Jerky Shooter" and the fine grind of the protein is critical. Voilà! These mats worked beautifully. I did need to flip the jerky half-way through to ensure enough airflow but when done, a quick bath is a tub of dish detergent, and they came squeaky clean. The only reason I didn't just wash them with the laundry was the grease that came out. Not sure my wife would have forgiven that one. Anyway, these are absolutely perfect, and we plan on replacing our standard silicone mats with them as they are easier to clean and much less expensive to replace when someone forgets and puts them under the broiler. (Seriously... teenagers.... geez... It's happened more than once)

I have a Weston 6-try dehydrator. Bought these sheets, cut to fit and the worked great. I bought them mostly for dehydrating small plant stuff, like sumac, etc. With the sumac, some of the fine haris can reach the bottom of the stacked trays, but nothing major. The mesh pretty much takes care of that.
