It has not change colour since I touch the bath. Very happy. **Q: After the last coat how long till I can use bath?** A: Well I did a few coats before I went on holiday so hard to tell, but I reckon you should try to give as long as possible. A minimum of 12 hours should do it. It seems to dry reasonably quickly. **Q: How long is needed between coats?** A: I gave it one coat, smoothed it over, waited for it to dry, gave it another coat, smoothed it over again & it's lasted ever since **Q: I have a Bathstore Acrylic bath that has lots of discoloured spots from essential bath oils. Would this be suitable to cover them?** A: Not really. This is like a nail varnish/tippex/ touch up paint that will leave the paint proud of the surface. I think you would be left with different patches of colour (albeit bright white). Good for repairing little cracks or holes which you build up slowly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A brilliant product! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 November 2020* A year ago we had a plumber repairing a leaking toilet cistern in the bathroom and he put all his metal tools in the bath while he was working. Later we noticed that where his wrenches and spanners had been there were six or seven areas where the surface of the bath had been scraped, plus several scratches and chips all around the plughole area. This looked unsightly, but we didn't want to have the whole bath resurfaced or even a new bath because of a few scrapes. Then I found this product! It comes in a Tippex-like container and has its own brush. You simply shake it for 2 minutes and then paint it on the damaged areas. Several thin layers are best and it is easy to get just a small amount on the brush and dab it on where necessary. I found a good way to fill deeper chips is to dab a good blob of the paint on so that it fills the hole and then immediately wipe the excess off with some toilet paper. Although it looks a brilliant white when it is first put on, it darkens slightly as it dries so that you don't notice that it is there. The only downside is that you have to wait 4 days for it to really harden before putting hot water in the bath, but 4 days wait is better than buying a new bath. I was so pleased with the result that I put some on a cracked tile in our shower room and the crack is no longer noticeable, and I have also put some on a radiator where there was a small area of rust - which was easier than painting the whole radiator. There is a lot of the product and as you only use a very tiny amount at a time, it should last a long time (as long as the cap is screwed on tightly) should any future damage occur. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple and effective for small chip in shower tray *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 April 2015* Used this for a small 3mm shallow chip in ceramic shower tray (black base showing through). Very easy to use - after cleaning and drying the area I just put a small drop of the stuff in the chip and it filled the cavity nicely. Colour was slightly different when wet but dried pretty much identical to the white ceramic. Left it for 24 hours to cure and since then have we used the shower daily as normal. The touch-up still in place after several weeks, but I reasoned that even if it did not last for very long, it would be simple to repeat the process. The stick is small but would do a small chip dozens of times. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use and a good result *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 May 2015* This is very easy to use. I was a little unsure as to whether it would be adequate for my repair job but I applied 5 thin layers and it has given a much better result than a more expensive product I have used in the past. It is interesting to note that on the repair around the plug hole the colour is a pretty good match and I am very pleased with it but on the lesser damaged repair by the taps the colour has not matched in very well at all!
