Surprisingly, what I use this for most often is storing hotel room key-cards. I travel for business and live in hotels most of the year. This use to mean problems with hotel room keys that frequently and frustratingly did not work because they became demagnetized by my cell phone or the magnets in my purse. Since I started putting my room keys in my flip notes holder (they fit perfectly) they are now easy to find in my purse and I no longer have any problems with the keys being demagnetized.
