Great product; even better customer service
Great product that produces wonderfully smooth Idli batter, nut butter, and even homemade chocolate. I've used it 10 times already, and it doesn't get overly hot even after running 10 hours. Sturdy, and the customer service is wonderful, giving me a replacement bowl instead of having me send back the original (slightly dented) bowl that arrived. 10/10, would buy from them again. Super happy.

Lasts for ever!
An Awesome Indian wetgrinder. We bought this on 2020 and it’s been 5 Years since . No challenges , no issue so far . My family grown from 3 to 4 so now I will have to use the grinder more than once a week . Still it lasts !

Great product, quick delivery and easy to assemble.
Really enjoying the product. Compact and delivered fast. But the instructions were little off on how to assemble, need a little more clear direction. But easy to assemble and a great product.

Great product thus far!
I had ordered this one and then initiated a cancellation for this one in favor of a 2L bendable one (for no fault of this one). But the seller contacted me for why I had 2 orders in place, understood the rationale and ensured that I got the grinder I wanted.Importantly, the support was good. The coconut grating attachment was broken. They promptly sent a replacement for free. After some time now, the lid screw cap got damaged due to mishandling from my end, and they are sending a replacement for free (even though I expressed my willingness to pay for it)!As to the product itself, it does the job well. Much better than the Vitamix I used to prepare batter before.

Awesome for Making Home Batch or Test Batch Chocolate!
I use this to refine chocolate for homemade batches and for just testing out different chocolate recipes.Yes the information for the unit says "not for use making chocolate" BUT so far so good for me. I think they just don't want people dumping in whole roasted beans or something silly like that.Understand that I make my chocolate using chocolate liquor and haven't used nibs. I have seen where others are using nibs with this exact unit and do not have an issue. Heck if people are grinding nuts and rice in it then I don't see an issue with making chocolate using nibs.I've run it for about 32 hour straight with no issue but usually run for about 12-24 hours. My chocolate temp has not exceeded 118F degrees while refining so it does not get super hot and shouldn't burn up the good stuff in nut butters and other items and definitely shouldn't get hot enough to do anything to the chocolate that it is refining.Clean up is simple and I'm surprised at how well I get it done washing by hand with a little soap and hot water. I DESPISE hand washing things but I knew I wouldn't be able to put this in the diswasher and so far the cleaning experience has not been an issue and is a pleasant surprise. If you want to make chocolate I give my DIY home chocolate bar making seal of approval for all of you to go ahead with!

Perfect for soft idlis and dosas
This is my second premier wet grinder. I got my first one from India in 2014 and it finally died in 2020. We use it at least once every couple of weeks to grind idli/dosa batter and appam batter. After my first grinder died, I was waiting for my next India trip to get my second. Meanwhile I started using my mixer for grinding, and my family said the idlis/dosas are not as soft. I could see the difference too. The urad dal batter used to be super fluffy with the grinder but with mixer it looked like dal powder mixed in water. With the covid restrictions, I was convinced I will be waiting forever if I decide to buy this from India. So I got it off of Amazon and I got my life back. I am back to my perfectly soft idlis and well fermented batter. For anyone looking for instructions on how to grind for perfectly fermented batter, here are my tips.I use 1:3 ratio. 1/2 cup urad dal (gota) + a teaspoon of methi seeds for 1.5 cups of idli rice. I soak them separately for at least 4 hours.grind urad dal+methi first. For 1/2 up urad dal, I end up using 1.5-2 cups of water to get the fluffy batter. Move that to a bowl and add rice + 1/2 cup of cooked rice (or 1 cup of soaked white poha) to the grinder. Grind it with enough water till you get the same consistency as the urad dal batter. Rice batter can be a little grainy. Move it to the same bowl as urad batter and mix it gently with clean hands (add salt now if you are comfortable doing that. My mom and mother in law prefer to add that before preparing the idli/dosa. I feel it is easier, if we add it while mixing with hand). Once the dal and rice are combined well, place the bowl in the oven with the lights on (I heat up the oven first at the lowest temperature , wait for 5mins and then turn it off before putting the batter in the oven). Wait for 9-10 hours (We live in Colorado and the batter ferments and rises in 9-10 hours) and make the softest idlis.THE only reason why I gave it a 4* is because compared to my first premier grinder, the new one doesn't grind super well. Even after 20-30mins of grinding, I will see some urad dal/rice in the batter (not just grainy, whole urad dal/rice). I had to apply pressure while tightening the stones to the grinder drum in the old one, but the new one it is just tightened by twisting. I think, that's causing the difference. Still, it gives me fluffy idlis, so no complaints.
