I might not bother now. This Blutex net is actually in my opinion better, its nice and light, but its not flimsy! Which means the net is easier to handle, especially as we have a deep pool with a rapid slope. We have a large outdoor pool, with an even bigger tree next to it, which means I am cleaning the pool on an all to regular basis and the Blutex leaf net is perfect, it has an angled scoop that lifts even difficult to get at leaves into the net, the net has a good capacity and the whole thing feels nice and sturdy. I cannot say I will buy again as I doubt there will be any need! Anyway if there was any improvement to be made, including a row of bristles in the scoop might give a better clean. But to get this quality at this price I cannot complain. Review: Superb reliability and excellent value for money - Love it!! I have a very large(ish) mirror carp pond and 5 minor frog ponds among some very leafy trees and this net really is the business. It is well big enough with an excellent rubberised leading edge (so it won't damage the pond's liner) and quality micro netting that allows me to capture loads of that peskily irritating, massively proliferant duck weed. Pop it on an extension pole and I can reach 3m easily without any effort because the net head is really light. That way, I don't have to keep donning my waders and getting into the pond. (Swiftly followed of course by the pesky heron!!) Btw, it doesn't come with a pole. You'll have to source that yourself**, but when you compare this to an inordinately expensive Wolf Garten pond net (at around £20-£30) and their extension pole (£35-£40!!!) you know you're playing in the right league with a product that offers superb reliability and excellent value for money. (**I use a Silverline 250182 Extension Pole 1.6-3 m for just a little over £7 delivered. Is the pole fitting universal or if not what is the socket dimension ie what pole diameter?** A: I had the same problem and bought this net to replace my old one it fits my old pole very well, I assume they are a standard fitting on the pole.
