Concord Transformer Xt Pro Group 1-3 Car Seat, Graphite Grey

I was looking for a seat that would grow with our 2 year old grand-daughter through to 12. After looking at lots of seat and reading the reviews and safety reports I decided on the Concord Transformer Xt Pro.. I was a little concerned as to how she would like the big booster in front of her. I have to say I had no need to worry, she loves it, she uses it to play on while awake and folds her arms and rests her head when tired. No more droopy heads when sleeping.It fits nicely onto the Isofix fittings, so is nice and secure in the car and uses the car seat belt to hold the booster in place.

After 2 years of usage suspension mechanism that holds the chair in the right position has broke, makes the chair no longer usable :(

Product is too complicated to even review. Its over engineered. Supposed to be a stage 1/2/3 car seat. My child didn’t fit stage 1/2 because there is no adjustment feature. And when i put her in stage 3, she just slips out of the seatbelt. Much better car seats you can buy

I loved this car seat but the hydraulics allowing for the headrest to be adjusted failed after no more than 2 years of minimal use, I have probably used the button to adjust the headrest no more than five times. Basically now I push the button and adjust the headrest to the desired level but when I release the button it doesn't lock the headrest in this position but returns it in the maximum open position. I am very disappointed. Otherwise sturdy and I will probably keep it for when my child is tall enough but disappointed I spent so much money, it is just out of warranty and now more has to be spent for an appropriate car seat.
