Good quality accurate travel alarm clock.
This later version is less complicated than the previous one that I had for ten years. Once set up it is simple and straight forward to use. The backlight is a pleasing mellow yellow rather than the stark blue that many other clocks have. The alarm is set by pushing the large up and down buttons on the front and then sliding the on/off switch to on, the alarm time is then displayed in the bottom left of the display and the alarm is set. The first clock that I owned had a tendency to switch to German time during the night which was plus one hour, ( however, it could be set to a specific time zone but I lost the instructions ), this new version lacks the auto time zone that caused that problem. The folding stand allows the clock to lean slightly back or to be vertical so the display can be viewed more directly. Overall this is a really good quality easy to use travel alarm clock.

This is not an electric clock
Unfortunately it did not specify on the website wether this alarm clock was mains or battery, as it turned out it is battery, and I was looking for an mains electric

A good quality radiocontrolled clock , so far.
It works Ok in Goteborg, will test in other countries. I was in Japan a month ago and my old radio controlled clock did not synchronized there, so I needed and manage to set manually the time after playing a bit. My guess is this Seiko should work properly in Japan, and even in US, because you have even the option to select the transmitter you will use for synchronization. Will test also there. For many of the Radio controlled clocks it is not stated explicitly- which transmitter( time ) the clock is synchronized. This one is OK and things are explained in the manual.

Superb little radio controlled travel clock
I've had this exact same model clock for over 4 years and I can't give it enough praise. I've taken it to the Philippines twice where it has been able to receive the radio time signal from Japan, and in the U.K it works by receiving the time signal from either Anthorn in Cumbria or from Frankfurt in Germany, it also works an America too. The amazing thing is that in all that time I've never had to replace the battery even though I use the nightlight quite a lot and it's still going strong. It might seem pricey in comparison to cheaper brands but they don't work worldwide, you get what you pay for and this clock is worth every penny.
