Buy Pioneer CLASS FD 4 CHANNEL at desertcart UK. Review: I just recently installed this amp in a 2012 Ford F150 FX4 with Sync, and no sony/nav unit. I used the speaker level inputs. No "trigger" or turn-on wire is required when using the speaker level inputs. The amp senses an input signal, and automatically powers up, then powers down when the signal is removed (by shutting down the head unit). Just tapped into the speaker wire in the channel under the door sill cover, and routed the wiring to the back of the rear seat where the amp is mounted. Super easy. I swapped out the factory Chinese paper cone speakers in all 4 doors with Infinity Kappa 6X8's which are specified at 2 ohm load each, so this amp is used as a true 4-channel setup. No bridging. I guess I didn't need to go with so much power... half volume and my ears feel like they want to start bleeding. Sound quality is remarkable. The high power allows for plenty of headroom, and it doesn't lack at all. Tight bass, airy, whispery highs, just what I wanted, and it runs as cool as the other side of the pillow. I'd buy this amp again in a heartbeat. Nice screw terminals for wiring, even has a set of RCA outs for daisy-chaining another to amp, which will be very handy when it comes time for a sub under the rear seat. I'm seriously thinking of another amp identical to this, and bridging the 4 channels to 2 for a stereo sub setup. Love this amp. And yes it will run both sets real good. Unless you are going into a Sound Off contest, you won't be using the full 100 watts anyway. I'm using this amp to power a set of 4 inch Infinity kappas 80rms front, and 4x7 boston acoustics 50rms rear. Pioneer AVHX8500BHS head unit powering Infinity kappas tweeters 100rms in the doors. Pioneer GM D9601 600rms pushing two 10 inch Kicker L7 Solobarics. To help with power I also have a 2 farad Rockford Fosgate cap. Volume at 12 is already decent loud. At 16 is where i would be showing off. Anything louder for a long period of time will damage hearing. Also get a quality wiring kit, I used a combo of Rockford Fosgate and Monster cable, it will help and what you pay for is what you get. Unless it's too overpriced. Shop around. **Q: would any one suggest this for a 5 channel set up? front outputs split to cabin and rear output bridged to 1 powerful 10" or 12"** A: Amp specs say, 300 watts RMS x 2 bridged at 4 ohms (250 watts RMS x 2 bridged at 2 ohms. Now that's by two channel bridged, not by one. So that's telling me that in bridge mode the amp is not split to run say 4 full range speakers and 1 sub bridged. Sorry, I have to say no. I have seen A/B amps split to run what you want to do, but its been years. Not sure if class D amps are made to do so without being a 5 channel amp or damaging them or tripping into protection mode. You would be better off getting a 5 channel amp or just running a second amp for subwoofers.
