USB Hub for Tesla glovebox
This works great. It fits perfectly and matches the color and texture of the glovebox. I now have Sentry/Dashcam recording, and playback of my music files. I plan to get a USB-C drive for my music so it can be plugged into the port behind the hub instead of the USB-A ports in the front.

Works great!
This USB splitter works exactly as it should. You will not get super fast charging speed out of the USBC port, but that was to be expected considering it is plugging into a standard USB outlet. The sentry mode and dash cam videos save perfectly on my thumb drive that I have plugged into this hub.

Inconsistent connection and stops working
I have a 2024 Tesla Model Y. Aesthetically it was great, and worked great, I used it with the Tesla provided USB drive, but about 2-3 months in I noticed in settings it would say it's not recording (as if there wasn't a USB drive plugged in). I could completely unplug the USB hub and then plug it in and most of the time it would start working again, but unfortunately that's not an actual fix given that you need Sentry mode and Dashcam mode to be RELIABLE, and you never know when it's not working unless you check in settings. Of course it only has a 30-day return policy, so I'm outside of that otherwise I'd return it and get my money back.

Perfect fit and functionality
This fit perfectly in my Tesla Model Y Juniper glovebox and looks like factory OEM. There's a hidden compartment that fits the standard Tesla thumb drive. And the visible front of the hub has two USB ports. Just a great must have item.

USB 3 port defective, no data
The USB 3 port in the recessed area did not transfer any data. It did provide power, and the USB 2 ports on the front did provide both data and power. After it didn’t work in the car, I tested on my desktop computer with the same result. This is probably due to a bad chip or connection. It happens. Returning this one, but will probably buy another one. It fits well, takes minimal space in the glove box, and has a nice surface that matches the interior of the glove box. I like the concealed port on the side, and it does get good reviews.

Works fine but gets loose sometimes and disconnecte
Does what it’s supposed to do, but I sometimes have to push it back into place.

Inexpensive solution to irksome Tesla issue
When I upgraded my 2018 Model 3 to a 2023, I was disappointed to learn there was only one data-capable USB port in the car, and that was in the glove compartment -- used by the Tesla Sentry flash drive. At first I ordered the TParts module for the center console but could not get it to work. It passed the Amazon return date (of course!) so I decided to try this.I was leery of using the same USB port (in the glove compartment) as the Sentry flash drive used, which is why I tried the TParts module first. I thought perhaps my USB music drive and the Sentry drive would draw more power than the port was designed to provide.I was happily surprised when it did not! Installation is super-easy; if you can plug in a flash drive you can install this hub. It is covered in the same "flocking" as is the interior of the glove compartment, thus once installed you hardly notice it is there. The Sentry drive Tesla includes with their cars plugs into the side of the hub, thus not interfering with the remaining space in front. The Tesla USB originally inserted into the one port straight-in, so the end sticks out toward the passenger. This hub takes up essentially the same depth and with the Tesla flash drive installed to the side rather than straight out there's not much difference -- that is, the hub doesn't take up all that much more usable space in the glove compartment. My music flash drive is of the mini-size type and I installed it to the front. Above the Tesla flash drive (which is 3.1) is a type-c USB port (I don't use that one) and in the front is another USB port (type 2.0) which I also don't use. I just wanted to be able to play my mp3 music in my car again, silly Tesla. One thing I did have to do ... after I first installed the hub and inserted the Tesla Sentry flash drive plus my music flash drive, the Sentry flash drive did not work! I thought I had been right about the power draw all along. On a whim I restarted the screen (Tesla owners know how to do this so I won't elaborate here). Seconds later I had Sentry recording AND my music playing. I was happy at last and now consider my 2023 model to be just as complete as was my 2018.
