I removed the flow restrictor from my hand-held shower head and installed this valve. No tools required for install and no leaks. It easily adjusts from zero flow to max flow using just your thumb. No dripping when off (in the closed position), and no noticable loss in water pressure that sprays out. A great water saver while lathering up with soap. No more resetting the cold/hot water mixture at the main tap (which was extremely annoying and time consuming), and no more running out of hot water while showering because I let the water run the whole time from start to finish (a race to see if I could rinse off before the water got cold :) ). I installed this device at the bottom of my handheld sprayer for quick and easy access whether showering or using the handheld sprayer to clean miscellaneous items in the bathtub. I didn't even know this type of item existed until a few days ago. Boy o boy, what a big difference it makes. It works great. I will get a second one for the other bathroom. **Q: Can this divert flow from wall-mounted handheld to ceiling- mounted shower head?**
A: Think of this only working only like a bathtub that would fill up and you would pull the little handle on the tub spout to get the shower to work.  Your current shower must work the same way, that if you blocked the flow to the wall shower with this device the water will come from the ceiling. Take your wall showerhead off the  hose and turn on the water and try and block the flow. The water will take the path of least resistance if it has a choice and will go through the ceiling head if it can, this means you can use this product. If you cannot stop the flow of water and it does not come out the ceiling this product will not work for you.

**Q: Does this come with rubber gaskets or is it a straight connection?**
A: Hello, thank you for your question. This shower flow regulator comes with a rubber gasket. We recommend using teflon tape wrapping the screws for a better tight seal. Hope this is helpful.

**Q: Does this reduce the max water pressure when the valve is completely open?**
A: Hello, thank you for your question. This shower flow control valve doesn't restrict the water pressure when it's completely open. The pressure and the water volume are reduced when the valve is adjusted to different position. Hope this helps.

**Q: Need to control the water flow to my whole house humidifier. Would this work?**
A: It all depends how you install the valve. This is a valve that will adjust the flow of water. I have used it to limit the water flow in a shower head especially when you are soaping so that the hot and cold supply is not fully shut off as would be if you shut the shower valve and when you reopen the shower valve you don't get a burst of cold water initially.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid piece to control water flow from shower head

This is solidly built and works well to control the water flow from shower heads where there is only temperature controls for the water. It always bothered me when they put new controls in each shower and all I could do was adjust the water temperature. Adjusting the pressure is not possible. With this simple item, which is very easy to install, I can adjust the water pressure from full to completely off.
