I cut the leather end cap off because it was a little difficult to thread through the belt loops on some jeans. It was a preference, not a defect. Of course I melted the cut ends so it dose not unravel. What do I love about this belt? The buckle is so easy and holds its locked position perfectly. Extremely easy to adjust on the fly if needed. I carry a knife with a clip for work and it goes on and off very easy, but not so easy that it falls off inadvertently. The material is EXTREMELY durable. It even looks good with dress pants. Anything I do not like? Nope. It is perfect.
