LEICKE Sharon Ultraslim Bluetooth Keyboard for Samsung Tablets and Smartphones with Android | Multitouch Touchpad | with stand & protective bag | UK QWERTY Layout

I was looking for a keyboard case cover for my Samsung Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 that allows me to do serious work and replacement for my laptop. The problem is that most of the cases that come with built-in cases are bulky or heavy and inconvenient to carry to an office meeting. So I decided to try-out a combination of the LEICKE Sharon Ultraslim Keyboard + LEICKE MANNA UltraSlim Samsung Galaxy Note PRO 12.2 Case Cover Black.So I bought and have been using these accessories for a month and here are my findings, for those looking for a similar solution:1. So far, this is the best combination of accessories that I find practically useful, convenient and has the best professional look2. It was easy to connect the keyboard to the Note 12.2 and I did not need to charge the battery for a whole month of usage. The keyboard is slim enough to fit in your shoulder bag and to carry it around.3.The keyboard has a large, soft track-pad and on the Note PRO 12.2 you can actually see the mouse pointer which allows you to use the tablet with normal right and left click responses and menu. I have never seen this before and its a pleasant surprise feature from LEICKE!!4. The keys on the keyboard are well laid out with sufficient spacing to allow normal finger typing and serious document editing.5. The keyboard comes with shortcuts for volume, browser, app drawer, brightness etc, pg up and pg down functionality (only downside is that you can't reconfigure shortcuts to open your choice apps)6. The MANNA UltraSlim case is exactly what it says, very thin and fits tightly around the Note Pro 12.27. The case cover provides 4 elevations so allows for variable angles of view on the Note PRO 12.2. This is quite important compared to keyboard hard cases that provide only one elevation.8. The case cover has an auto-sleep feature and a round strap which you can use to hold the Not PRO 12.2 at the back of the car seat or even around your hand when you are outdoors to avoid any accidental slippage from your hand. LEICKE has really thought out about the practical uses of the Note PRO 12.2, and I find this strap very useful to hold the tablet during on-stage presentations.9. These two accessories really feel durable and are of such high quality professional finish that complements my Note PRO 12.210. In my view this is the most portable option and allows you to protect your Note PRO 12.2 , whilst giving you the option to use the keyboard whenever you need it without adding more weight.Negatives?Not really, it is hard to find the quality and professional finish offered by LEICKE on similar products. I enjoy my Note PRO 12.2 much better.The only shortcoming is that Samsung itself does not offer proper windows excel and word on its tablet, otherwise we now have perfect accessories from LEICKE to fully utilise and carry around my Note PRO 12.2. Thank you for such great accessories that are reasonable priced too.

Edit 2017-12-14That did not take long. 1 star removed, and the keyboard is being returned.Too much of a pain to download the manual, I would sooner return the keyboard.I wanted this in a hurry,Normally I download manuals first, compare products using the manuals, then make a purchasing decision.Leicke make this impossible by insisting on the serial # being provided!Bye, bye sale.2017-12-13 Original review below.Only received today so comments are provisional, if the keyboard disintegrates in three months I shall edit this review.But none of the reviewers from 2015 have apparently found reason to edit their favourable reviews.Connects almost instantaneously to my Samsung Tablet (now three years old), my Fire HD8 7th generation Tablet purchased last week and my LG smartphone (also now three years old).Keyboard and Touchpad worked seamlessly and flawlessly with the sample applications I used, which I hope will extend to the whole range.So light it might blow away in the wind.The, well made, bag is large enough to accept both the keyboard and the Samsung Tablet.The keyboard is curved, I had to view the YouTube videos again to establish that this is a design feature.The Tablet stand works but I do not believe the design cannot be improved upon."Sharon products by LEICKE, your friendly manufacturer from Leipzig, Germany" states the Amazon product data, it's made in China.

Track pad was hanging out when received had to push back in into place.

Excellent little keyboard and stand. Use this for my Samsung Note 3 mobile and my Samsung Pro tablet. Makes writing notes, lists e-mails and messages SO much easier and more pleasant.Keyboard is nicely made, with good key travel, a nice solid metal backplate and good sized trackpad.Took me a minute to work out how to use the accompanying phone/tablet stand as the locking tongue on mine was sticking in its slot and I was afraid I might be pushing it the wrong way! As soon as I put my glasses on :) I could see that the locking tongue clearly rises up out of the base of the stand to engage with (one of) the locking slots on the back of the stand's "face".Bluetooth connectivity worked perfectly with 'Leicke' device recognised quickly in Android when I turned the keyboard on and pressed the 'Connect' button (inset beside the indicator lights).Keyboard is 24cm wide by 17cm deep, comes with its little stand for your phone/tablet, a USB cable for charging and a mock suede bag to hold all the bits together in your bag.Very practical and saves my poor fingers !!
