## Description

Sunlite Standard Presta Valve Tube. This is NOT like your standard car air valve. This will NOT fit properly in a rim that uses Schrader Valves without potentially dmamging the tube and rim. Please check your valve before purchase!

Review: Has held up really well over the years! These tire tubes have performed very well when needed to repair a flat. Easy to use and they have been perfect. No issues!
Review: I live in the North West. If anyone has ever biked out here you know about goathead thorns. These mother f====rs use to make my life hell. Since switching to a 10 speed/road tires that is no longer an issue. 100 PSI sure can repel ALOTTA HOLECRAP. I useto have standard 50-80 PSI tires on my bikes.. they got flats WEEKLY... even the green goo would make it so the tube would last for a month... Since 10 speed, 100 PSI+ tires? I have gotten ONE flat in 6 months, and it was a PINCH flat because I couldn't air the presto valve up ANYWHERE. (Only pet peeve is presto valve, however, the valve itself is great, just the rarity of compatibility is annoying. I have these tubes last me 6+ months of weekly riding of 50+ miles. Hell, my front tube is over 15 months old, ahhahha.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a fixie bike 52 cms, what size tube should i get and why isnt there a threaded 80cm?**
A: Ben, there are actually two parts to this question, so I'll take them one at a time:1. The size of tube you need depends on the size of the tire on your bike, not the frame size. Almost all fixed gear bikes run the same diameter wheels, namely 622mm bead seat diameter, but the width of the tire can vary. You can check the tire sidewall to find that out; it will usually say something like 622-23 or 622-25, designating a tire with a 622mm bead seat dimension and 23mm or 25mm wide, which are the most common sizes foe fixie bikes. It is possible, though, that you may have wider or thinner tires. If that is true, it's helpful to try to find tubes that correspond to your tire size so that you're not trying to stuff a big tube into a skinny little tire or over stretching a small tube to fit a big tire.2. About your question of 80mm valve stems, I am assuming you are asking because you have high profile rims on your bike that need longer stems. I have found that Kenda, Michelin, Continental, Ultracycle, and Duro brands offer 622 size tubes in 23-25 size with 80mm stems which should work well if you have tires in this size range. If you have different size tires, it gets more complicated, because larger tubes usually have only standard length (40-42mm) valve stems. If this is your setup, you will need to use a valve extender to make you valve stems longer. You can Google more information about these better than I can tell you about them, because I have no experience with them, but it seems that Continental valve extenders are fairly reliable by report when used with their tubes. Sorry to be so detailed, but this was perhaps a more complicated question than you expected. Good luck with your rig!

I purchased these tubes to use on my Bike Friday pocket rocket. I can imagine 451 bmx racers and possibly recumbent riders also using them. They are nothing special, other than that I have had only the usual amount of flats. After a week of ~40 miles of riding, they tend to go from 80 to 50 psi, so bear this in mind. However for the price the tube is decent. One of my major problems (which I have had with sunlite before) is that sometimes the presta valve assemblies seem far too brittle for normal use- I shouldn't have to worry about snapping the top of the valve off while hurriedly changing a tire in the rain. To this regard, they are very solid. So verdict- solid, no-nonsense tubes. Probably not the lightest, probably leak more than others, but for the price, not bad. I would take these on a tour.
