## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap stocking fillers! Excellent game for preteen girl.
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 April 2026*

This Ravensburger “That’s Not a Hat” party game is a brilliantly simple concept that turns into surprisingly chaotic and hilarious fun very quickly, making it a great choice for families, mixed-age groups, or casual game nights. The gameplay is very easy to learn in minutes, which is a big strength. Players pass cards face down while trying to remember what they “gave” or “received,” but as the round progresses, memory quickly becomes unreliable and bluffing often becomes the only way to avoid penalties. This creates a lot of laughter and light-hearted accusations, especially in larger groups. It works particularly well as a filler game because rounds are short (around 10 minutes), so it’s easy to play multiple times in one sitting. The compact box also makes it ideal for travel, holidays, or bringing out quickly at gatherings. What makes it enjoyable is how quickly things unravel — even confident players often end up second-guessing themselves, and the game naturally creates funny moments rather than serious competition. If I had one minor downside, it would be that it’s quite repetitive after several plays in a row, and it really depends on group energy. It shines with the right crowd but may feel a bit too simple for players who prefer deeper strategy games.Overall, this is a quick, entertaining party game that delivers a lot of laughs for very little setup, and it works best as a light, social game rather than a long-term strategy experience.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Funny and good for memory
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 July 2026*

We had a great time playing this game, it was amusing trying to remember what was in play. Great family fun, simple design but perfect for the game and memory skills. Adults and teens loved it. The rules are simple, it’s more about memory and laughing when you forget your own card.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A game to test your brain
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 September 2026*

This game will drive you crazy! Great game to play with family or a group of friends but your brain will be fried! Such a simple concept but it's not as easy as it seems. Cards at wgood quality and pictures are clear
