I use these in both of my 207 filters all the time **Q: Will this fit my 107 filter tray** A: Yes it will your 107 filter tray **Q: Hi does this go at top of tray or bottom tray in the fx6 and how many do a need in filter please** A: These are the wrong pads for your canisters, I believe you need a round vision of the pads. You will only need 1 pad in the top tray of your canister. Hope you are able to find the correct pads for your canister filter. **Q: How do these compare to the generic ones? Especially in terms of longevity?** A: These are like 10% more convenient for 100000% the price of generic alternatives. Compared t a £2 bag of filter wool, the Fluval stuff fits perfectly into a Fluval filter without any cutting. It is slightly more firm, so you can get 2-3 washes out of it compared to 1-2 for filter floss (depends how often you clean your filter).
