**Q: What age range would this fit best? Thanks in advance!**
A: We have an 18 month old..fits him good. He is 30 lbs..rather large for his age.  Id say 12 months/24 months

**Q: Could someone please verify what the hat is made of?  Other sites say it is a machine washable cotton blend.**
A: I don't know what it is made of, but have thrown it in the washing machine and dryer with other clothes many times and have had no issues with it shrinking or anything.
