Both weighed exactly 24.95 lbs according to my scale. Now I saw some people complaining about the smell. This is ridiculous to me and must be from people who've never bought rubber plates or rubber dumbbells before. They ALL have this smell, no matter what brand you purchase. It's just gas escapping from production process and will be noticeably better after a few days and will be completely gone after a couple weeks. If your rubber coated plates or dumbbells didn't smell when you bought them it's because they sat in a warehouse unpackaged and the gases dissipated there instead of in your garage. Bottom line.
