You’ll need a fairly big firepit (80cm +) to fit it into. Place it on a bed of hot embers and build up a fire around it for 2-2.5 hours. You may see the escaping gases ignite at the lid seams or the two top flues. Don’t be tempted to open it up until it cools completely as it could combust if opened while hot. I usually leave mine overnight and open it the next morning. Absolutely love it!
