He got started with a little cheap one and that’s when I found out that he was really interested in doing leather work. The kit came with just about everything he wanted except the letter stamps. The huge complaint that I have is, the leather case it comes with doesn’t hold the tools in place and so when you fold it up, everything wants to fall out!! The tools inside are of good construction and feel pretty nice to use. It takes a while to get everything inside the tool holders and if not placed correctly they will fall out. The stamps are of great quality and seem pretty durable. The variety of this kit is astonishing. Would be great if it came with detailed instructions of what the tools are, what they are called, and how they are used. Other than that I have had a great time learning leatherworking.
