Best form factor of any foldable, but lacking overall
I have tried a couple of foldables, and the Pixel Fold is by far my favorite form factor with the passport size and shape. The other foldables are too long and skinny to be used one handed, so I am not sure why that is the direction all foldables seem to be heading. Other than the form factor, the experience is not great. There is the typical bugginess of Android that creeps into the Fold where actions that are taken for granted on the iPhone are a problem for Android. For example, if I get a call on Slack and it rings on both my computer and my phone, and I answer the call on my computer, the iPhone understands this and stops ringing, but Android will continue ringing until I manually stop it. This is just one example in a long list of frustrations with Android. For the Pixel specifically, it doesn't lay flat when opened, and it has the camera bump on one side, so trying to do anything with it while it is open and flat on my desk is frustrating as it just bounces around the whole time. The integration with Windows via PhoneLink is worse than other foldables such as the OnePlus Open in that it can't seem to stay connected via Bluetooth, and I had to manually reconnect the phone a few times/day. The camera is very average, especially when doing slow-mo video. Also, all of the videos I edited on the Fold turn into unwatchable videos when exported anywhere else (OneDrive, Google Photos, etc.). I ended up returning the Fold after a few weeks and went back to the iPhone.
