Perfect for use in hot glass art
I love these chopsticks, which I replace periodically because I use them for glass torch work, where they are handy when pulling stringers, etc. They're sturdy enough to hold up to the flame fairly well, as long as you don't superheat them and burn a hole in them. I'm sure they make great eating chopsticks too, that's just not how I use them.

Metal Chopsticks... Hmmmmmm.
I love using chop sticks. You have such precision and control, once you master their use. I've always used wooden chopsticks, but was ready to try something more permanent (plus, a friend mentioned how the demand for wooden chopsticks was having a real affect on the environment). So, I like them. The textured rings at the end of the sticks allow me to pick up even the most slippery noodles or vegetables with no problem. They click together a bit, but it's not really bothersome, just different. We had to figure out a way to wash them in the diswasher. They are so slim they fall through the silverware basket and are so light we couldn't just lay them down in the racks. We finally started putting them in a fine wire-mesh colander and it works fine.I love these little clickers...

Not the greatest
I purchased these chopsticks to replace some plastic ones that we really like. There's really nothing wrong with these but they are just too slick to pick much up. Big pieces of meat are ok but getting a mouthful of rice is next to impossible. I have no idea where we bought our plastic chopsticks but I guess I'll continue my search for some new ones.

Light, easy to clean, and easy to handle.
I decided I had had enough of splinters on the wooden disposable chopsticks I'd been using, and wanted something that I could just throw in the dishwasher. The Joyce Chen chopsticks fit the bill perfectly. As another reviewer pointed out, these chopsticks don't look at all like Amazon's picture (they look exactly like the customer's picture). I think they look much nicer, actually. They're quite minimalist and contemporary.I was a bit surprised by how light these are, since they're stainless steel. They're extremely comfortable to use, and the ridges near the tip make it very easy to grab food. If nothing else, these are perfect for learning with, if you've never used chopsticks before. The only real drawback I found was that they're a bit too smooth for rice (that, or I've only mastered it with wooden chopsticks).

Almost Perfect
First off, the stock picture isn't the right set; you can see the customer pictures on the left side of the main picture, which will show the package and tip type. That being said, these are wonderful. They are very easy to wash, don't hold any stains or residue like some other sticks, and look very stylish as tableware and decoration. My only problem with them is how they feel in my hands; there are times when, no matter how good you are with chopsticks, the saucy food you are eating just don't stay and they can slip out of your fingers if there is any moisture.

Just as expected!
I bought these as a gift for a friend who dearly wanted a pair after seeing mine, which I bought at a convention at a price of $10/pair... needless to say this is the better deal, and for 5 of the exact same product! I placed my order 12/12/12 and received them a little over an hour ago today, 12/17/12 along with two other items I ordered. Fast, fair, and accurate. Definitely recommend buying! As for those reviews saying they can be difficult to grip- they can be, if you're only used to using wooden ones or not very dexterous, or even holding them improperly, but as for myself I have not had a problem with them, and even use them to cook with!

Not very functional.
Very nice looking but not good for eating with. They get hot and the food is difficult to pick up with them due to there slippery nature. Stick with bamboo for eating.
