I picked up a soft cover KJV Bible for use at church and in class but the writing is really small so I wanted something bigger. This Bible is perfect for my use 2 to 3 times a week. The pink cover is so soft and the lettering and design are embossed into the cover (not printed on) which elevates the quality of the cover and spine of the book. The pages are a thin but I have had no issues with them ripping. The pages are edged with gold which is really lovely. I am thrilled that the size of the print is comfortable and I can read it without having to put on my readers if I don't have them with me. At first use, the pages were a bit sticky but this is due to the gold edging and after you flip through the book the pages separate and don't stick back together. The finger tabs work well but they are just a guide to take you to a 3 book section and they use abbreviations for the names of the books ie the first tab says "Gen, Exo, Lev" in stacked order. The writing on the tabs is very small so the tabs are just for quick reference to get you to the general area you are looking for. If you want tabs for each of the individual books, you won't find that here. Extra goodies include a section at the back with weights and measures explained, a "Where To Turn" section that references Bible verses to help you with specific life issues, a topical concordance section, and a loverly ribbon place marker The book came wrapped in a sleeve but it is not boxed so if you are giving this as a gift you will need to box it yourself.
