They don't need assembling as they just unfold and stand up on their own. There is an handle either side for easy moving and the top has a thin pole to keep the hamper open and square shaped.I purchased 4 ( two hampers in a set) they are nice enough and suitable enough to place anywhere round the home whether they are used for laundry in the bathroom , bedroom or for toys or for any item that needs a home. When the time arises I will most certainly order again because they are definitely value for money in my opinion.
