This is my first time using any tinting product and I followed the directions. I decided to go as light as I could for the first time and put the product in my rinsed, saturated hair. It's subtle and I like it. Next time I think I'll try it with towel dried hair, like the directions say, and get a little more color. The color only grabbed onto my highlights that I had done a while ago, and not my natural color which is dirty blonde (also mentioned on the bottle), but I like the sort of ombre look. I also used a purple shampoo toner about a week before I did this to get a bit of a brighter color. I like the way it turned out and am glad that it is a temporary tint that I can have fun and experiment with, without having to commit to this color long term. Would also like to mention that pictures shown are of blow dried and unstyled hair without any product.
