More safer To avoid overheating, the melter will shut off when the heating element reaches the setting temperature. Don't worry! After the heating element cools down, the melter will auto-work again. I've been using this wax melter for about five months now, and honestly, it's worked great. I use it frequently, and it's still working perfectly. I like that it has a button to adjust the temperature and two heating modes: one that melts the wax more slowly and another that melts it much faster, which is very useful depending on the amount of wax or the project you're working on. I also love that the power cord is detachable. This makes pouring the wax into molds or containers much more convenient and practical without the cord getting in the way. The melter melts the wax evenly and maintains the temperature well. The pouring spout is also very helpful when pouring and prevents spills. Cleaning is also quite simple. In my case, when I finish using it, I let it heat up empty for a few minutes to melt any stuck-on wax, and then I easily wipe away all the residue with a paper towel.

Honestly such a great find. We used this to make wax wraps for food storage - unfortunately the wax was the wrong kind lol but the melting pot did a great job! Not only is it functional but it’s aesthetically pleasing too! Super cute, easy to clean, and the perfect size!
