HIPLOK Z Lok Single Zip Combo Lock, Black (ZCOM1AB)

Perfect for ducking into store in a low crime area, but obviously would never withstand serious attack. Still high quality and perfect for coffee shop runs.

I used this Z lok to secure my bike helmet to my bike when parking it in some locations. After about 2 weeks of using it, it completely locked up and I could not get it to unlock. I had to ride my bike home through a city with no helmet and then purchase bolt cutters at the hardware store to cut it open to free my helmet. Luckily I just used it to secure my helmet and not my bike as I would have been in a way worse situation.I DO NOT RECOMMEND

So small I can barely distinguish them. Also, when setting the combination the dials were very hard to turn and the third dial refused to turn to the number I wanted (a number I could remember) regardless of which direction I tried to turn it. So I'm stuck with a number I won't remember and can't see anyway. LOLNot for me. Wasted money. Should have went with the keyed version but now I think I'll just stick with using the heavy duty u-lock and cable I've been using for a long time.Thought this would be quick and easy but doesn't look like it now.

The combination part of the aperture went bad on both of the units I bought. The combination worked for awhile and then wouldn't. It happened two weeks after purchase on the first one and a month later on the second I called after the first one wouldn't accept the combination and asked if there was a "reset code" that I could use so I didn't have to cut the strap off and was told there was none. So, I had to cut it off with a bolt cutter. The other one I purchased was still operational, but that only lasted a month. So, I knew the drill ... get out the bolt cutters again.

This zip lock is the definition of stuntin' for the gram. If you don’t buy this now, I guarantee you’ll be jealous of your homie when he rolls up to the coffee shop with this bad boy and you still have your 15lb U-lock like a herb.

Worked so far. I use these for my Thule kayak stackers. I choose to leave them on and these locks will deter those that DON'T have a bolt cutter. LOL

I have a heavy chain lock I use for long-term hookups, but I was looking for something to take with me during those rides where I could possibly need a lock. This it. The lock is sturdy, tough and fits in my jersey pocket.

I could not get it to unlock using the factory set combo. I emailed Hiplok and they responded quickly but it still would not open. I returned it to Amazon. It seems like a great lock but I need to use it to be sure.
