## Questions & Answers

**Q: Any idea what the correct sharpening angle is for these knives (15 or 20 degree)?**
A: you are more likely to cut yourself on 15-deg. 20-deg would usually be less sharp.

**Q: do the blades bend when you hold them?**
A: The blades seem very good! No, they do not bend, so far. They are VERY sharp!!!

**Q: 14.6 is that the height of the block with or with out the knives in it, my current knife set is 14 high with the knives in it**
A: Counter to top of tallest knife handle is 13.25 inches

**Q: is it forged ?**
A: The set of 14 appear to be stamped rather than forged. While all sets appear to have a full tang, only the ones with a bolster will be forged. The chef’s knife, from the set of 14, is thinner towards the edge of blade which makes for easier slicing. The set of 9 is really excellent value.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great buy
*by S***V on 28 September 2026*

Great quality, reasonable price.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent value, will last if looked after well
*by J***E on 18 March 2025*

For the money they are excellent value, blades are sharp and I have been able to chop up veg into small cubes and have had no issues with meat either. A single high quality chefs knife would cost at least twice the price of this entire set and to be honest it does not really matter too much what knife you buy as they will only keep well if looked after properly. I protect the edges of the blades at all times by avoiding cutting through bones or coming into contact with anything other than what I want to cut and a wooden chopping board. The blades are still sharp after a couple of months use, but I am sure they would not be so so if I stuck them in the dishwasher or used them to cut bones on a marble chopping board. I also dry them immediately after hand washing and as a result I have not noticed any issues with rusting.
