This journal is appealing to the senses on so many levels. It's a beautiful thing. I particularly like the pen-holder. I chose a plain page 'Deer' version. The pages are a light sepia colour, are smooth and take the ink very well indeed. The 'but' is because of the disappointing quality of the binding. I've started using it otherwise I might have considered returning it. Several pages in, the bottom 2cm of the page is loose and I am afraid now that the pages will come loose. I write in these journals and hope to keep them for a lifetime, so it's important that I can trust that it will hold together. Very sad, since I like the ethos of the company and it is such a lovely book. So one star removed becauuse of this.

If you are looking for an A4 notebook I think you can’t get much better than this. It may not have page numbers but each sheet is micro perforated so it makes sense.I bought Leuchtturm, Dingbats and Scribbles That Matter A4 notebooks and this is the best value for money as it has twice the pages of the Leuchtturm and is far nicer than the STM.

This was bought as a present for a family member. I already have 3 Dingbats* myself and I really love them.They are of impeccable quality.The design is traditional with a modern twist.They look super cool.The materials are phenomenal.There’s lots of little extras like the back pocket.I could go on forever, it sounds silly, it’s a notepad... but it is honestly a special one. You will see if you buy one to try it, you will have a connection with your Dingbat. You can always return if it’s not for you, but as someone how has many and buys family and friends these, based on their feedback, I’m sure you’ll like it

I purchased this with the hope of gluing A4 printouts to some of the pages inside to help me build an A4 bullet journal. Sadly, due to the curved corners of the book that isn't possible. Also the back pocket is smaller than an A4 page, so you can't put anything useful in there without folding it up.The paper quality is very nice though, and if there was a version of this book that was about 2cm larger in each direction then I'd get one of those.

Such a gorgeous notebook. I searched everywhere for a notebook with plain pages and they’re incredibly hard to find. This is absolutely perfect and with the addition of bookmark, pen holder and band to close the book, it’s everything you could need. I love this company, they do so much good with the way they work. Would recommend to anyone - a bit pricier than the average notebook, but it’ll last forever and it’s so beautiful. You definitely get what you pay for.

I cannot stress the quality of this product enough! Amazing, stylish and durable cover with high quality paper throughout. As an Architecture student,having the pages come in a range of styles (dots, lines or squares) is super helpful! The fact there are so many to collect is cool, as I go through so many notebooks, making a collection gives you more of an intensive to take time and improves quality! BEST NOTEBOOK ON THE MARKET

I wanted to get a good notebook to study in so I can really focus on the work. The pages are thick and my fountain pen ink does not show through to the other side of the page which is really nice. I love the faux leather cover, the colour and the design. All perfect. Will get more.

I have now bought 3 of these books. I just love them! They are professional, the pages are sturdy enough for my fountain pen without showing the ink through and I will keep buying them!
