Creates a discrete 5mm gap. Tough Nyloplastic design, fits most composite boards on the market that are made to an industry standard groove type. Sold in 100 quantity size bagged packs. Review: Great item. - Really good hidden fittings. Didn't have one that broke. In hindsight and purely from a cosmetic point of view I wish I had ordered them with black screws. Review: Pretty good quality but can be a little brittle when used in freezing weather. - I used these spacers/ clamps to lay a large area of composite cladding. In general they were pretty easy to use but as the screws provided were shiny stainless steel, they were very visible in between the strips. A black screw would have been preferred but apart from that the quality was pretty good. I did however find that once temperatures dropped to near or below freezing, the clamps would sometimes crack or break very easily. I guess not many people lay decking in sub zero temperatures but for me, this was a slight inconvenience. Once laid though, they appeared to be strong and stable.
