The rose gold circle around the middle of the iron is the stand. It’s not top heavy so the hot iron doesn’t fall on the counter. The cord twists really nicely and doesn’t ever get tangled up. That should’ve of been sign it wasn’t going to work. The first time that I used was 7-12. It doesn’t hold a curl one hour later I did have a curl in my hair. So I thought it was the wig that didn’t hold a curl so I tried it on another wig the next day it didn’t hold a curl this is a waste of money! I am super disappointed the only reason why I bought this one is because I purchased a cheap one and it held a curl all day long but it broke within a month I thought I was saving money my spending more money.
