**Q: manufactured where?**
A: Made in China. See my pic in the reviews. Still a nice set though.

**Q: Is this kit safe on chrome pins?**
A: I have never seen chrome pins before! i'm pretty sure you have stainless pins and not chrome and that kit would be fine for syainless

**Q: Are these "Roll Pin" punches?**
A: There are 4 different sets available: a set with standard, flat punches only; a set with roll pin punches only; a set with a specialized combination of punches including extra-long roll pin; finally a set with a combination of steel and brass flat tip punches. Please see the images and description for detailed list of included punches.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid Punch Set

Real Avid makes some excellent products and this one is no exception. Buying it as a combo saves you some money than when buying the block separately. Block is non-marring and the addition of a magnet strip reduces the chances of losing pins. The hammer is balanced well and the handle fits nicely in the hand and the rubber grips keep it in the hand. The pins are well made and the points that make contact are smooth at the edges almost round in feeling. This helps prevent scratches on the metal if the punch slides out of place. The red rubber rings also help keep hold on them during use. I did bend the smallest punch, but that could well have been my fault for using the wrong size on a pin that was stuck and was a pain to remove. The rest have worked very well and have retained their alignment. I would buy this set again. It has performed well every time I have used it, and I have gotten a lot of use from it thus far.
