It is very stylish for a more modern living space and does not scoff easily. I have slide coasters, remotes, glasses, and my laptop across it without any evidence of damage or paint peeling. It is also very spacious to place many things on it whether you put leisure reading items, decor or a small work space it works well. Recommend for an apartment size living space or a small family room.

A: Some type of metal. I don't think its aluminum.

**Q: Simple enough for female to put together?**
A: Oh yes you can do it. My roommate had it together when I got home. As soon as I seen it I said no. It looks like a table for a bunch of kids to play tea party on. And for as much as the set cost the value isn't there. It's partical board. I sent all three back. I was also going to order the entertainment center also but did not. I went on 5miles and offer up and found a entertainment center that cost 3500.00 new . They asked I think 450 I offered 350 and they said yes. Take some time and go on these sites you'll be amazed at what you can find. Actually I bought that for myself and same day bought my girl one for 150. Broyhill very nice things just gotta wheel and deal. I say no to these

Bought this for my apartment and love it. The build quality feels very sturdy and only took me about 45 minutes to put everything together. It comes with all the necessary tools and parts so that you do not need to go out and buy tools or go searching through your boxes for tools. It is very stylish for a more modern living space and does not scoff easily. I have slide coasters, remotes, glasses, and my laptop across it without any evidence of damage or paint peeling. It is also very spacious to place many things on it whether you put leisure reading items, decor or a small work space it works well. Recommend for an apartment size living space or a small family room.

Surprisingly heavy in the box. It was easy to put together, and looks nice when completed. My only complaint is that the finish doesn't hold up to water or liquid very well. If you have a cup or glass that is sweating and you don't have a coaster it makes the finish sort of bubble up/wear off and it develops little spots where the finish is wearing off and you can see the fiberboard. Using a paper towel or napkin as a coaster creates the same problem, with the damp material sitting on the table top. I sort of expected a better material/quality for the price. But it's a good table otherwise. And I love the open space under the table top. It's the perfect place to store things that take up room on a regular table. I also put my remotes in that space, which has made my life significantly easier not having to search for them.
