I have been very happy with it
I am really surprised that more people haven't bought this tablet. I bought it to replace my old Samsung GalaxyNote, It had been dropped and repaired, but still isn't quite right. I read many reviews about this tablet, complaining it isn't bright enough or the resolution isn't as high as a Nexus or Kindle Fire. I have been very happy with it, even though I worried about those things when I read reviews on the LG E10.What I have found is that the screen is very clear and easy to read. It has many useful features, surpassing my note. I had a Peel app on the note with was supposed to be able to turn my tv off and on. It never worked right and I couldn't uninstall it and free up the space on my tablet. The remote with the LG does work, perfectly. It won't do every tv but it is great to be able to control my tv with my tablet. The Samsung Note had dual window support. This LG has dual window support with it's native browser and with Chrome. It has it with a several other apps that you can use with this feature, such as Email. Gmail, Youtube, File Manager, Gallery, Hangouts, and Maps. That was part of the reason I bought the system, as I loved it on my old tablet. Some of the apps have a Qslide floating window feature allowing you to use them on your screen while you are looking at something else. This works with Email, the Calculator, the Calendar, Browser, Video, and the File manager. You can also change the opacity to make it more see through if you need to look at something else on your tablet at the same time. There is another feature called Capture Plus allowing you to capture pictures and crop them in the browser. I haven't used it but it is yet a reminder of how feature packed this tablet is, for a low budget tablet. The Quick Memo works well with a stylus. It also erases easily with a clear all. You can also use the keyboard to write a note as well as using a stylus. My Samsung Note was was rather buggy with that feature on its system. There is a way to circle items on your webpage and comment on them. The system supports an Micro SD card, which was a requirement for me. It has features like Knock Code, which uses pressure touches in a certain preset way to unlock your phone, although you can use a passcode system as well with it. It does use Android Lollipop. I have used both, and I know for some there is a preference issue. Also, battery life seems less efficient with Lollipop over Kit Kat. I can't really tell yet. I have the system set to lower brightness at night. And to go into sleep mode when the lid it shut. I have it set to stay on when I am looking at it. My Samsung note had that too. I have it set to not scan for wireless networks all the time when it is hooked in to one already, and that saves on the battery as well. I do like how Lollipop looks. I find the settings area easier to read with a white back ground as opposed to black in Kit Kat. I like the notifications on the lock screen which Kit Kat didn't have. It also has Polaris Office which I find useful. The speakers are really good, although I wish they were front facing. There is an app within the music player, that lets you change the audio affects to get a better sound, depending on what you are playing. I like that it has a full-sized keypad with the numbers on the top of the screen instead of having the shift back and forth. It you have a LG Phone, you can can pair the two using Q pair and get messages and phone calls sent to your tablet. I don't have an LG phone so I don't use the feature, but everything packed into this tablet is useful in some valuable way.I think it is a great device. Even if I paid 220 dollars for it, it would still be a great device.

Very happy with this tablet
Very happy with this tablet. I bought it about 4 months ago to be used primarily as an eReader for a large amount of PDF manuals and documents and I needed to use. And I didn't want to read them while hunched over my laptop for hours at a time. This is my first tablet, and I went for a cheap one because I wasn't sure how much I would use it. I am on it for hours every day and am now looking at getting a larger Samsung 12.2, but that's just because my use requires a larger screen.Bottom line, I am very happy with this tablet. I delivers on everything it promises and is a great value for the money. It only has 1GB of ram, and and the screen resolution is only 1280x800, but I ALMOST NEVER notice these shortcomings. Very occasionally, I might be reading a dense, small-font PDF and wish the screen had higher resolution, but never under normal conditions like using web browsing, watching video, using the Kindle app.. or anything else, for that matter. Only when reading technical manuals in PDF format.Sometimes, it feels a little sluggish, but that is usually remedied by restarting it, which takes only a minute or 2.Most importantly, IT HAS BEEN COMPLETELY TROUBLE-FREE. It has never done anything unexpected, or failed to do something I expected it to. It even surprised by 1) automatically updating to Android 5.02 Lollipop the first time I turned it on, and 2) recognizing all of a 64GB sd card I installed even though it says it only takes a max of 32 GB.So if you are looking for a very functional, basic, and reliable tablet for very few dollars, get this one and you'll be happy.BTW, I also paired it with this case/keyboard combo. IVSO LG G Pad 10.1 Ultra-Thin Bluetooth Keyboard Portfolio Case- DETACHABLE Bluetooth Keyboard Stand Case / Cover for LG G Pad 10.1 Tablet (Black) It was just under forty dolrs and works great for those time I need to type a lot. I really love it. For those time I just need to do emails or journaling, I use a stylus (I'm a Galaxy Note fan). I bought this stylus and this case with a stylus holder loop, and have been very happy. i-BLASON LG G Pad 10.1 Case - Leather Book (Elastic Hand Strap, Multi-Angle, Card Holder) With Bonus Stylus 3 Year Warranty (LG G Pad 10.1, Black) . I then bought this stylus, and have also been very pleased. Stylus Pen, New Trent Arcadia (2PCS) Clickpen Stylus/Styli with [Micro-Knit Tip] [Retractable] for All Capacitive Touchscreen Smartphones and Tablets. [TwinPack: Black + White ]The case came with a stylus, but it was junk and never worked. The ones I bought separately have worked great. To sum up, I bought this tablet because I wasn't sure I would use one and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I use it EVERY DAY for an hour or more, never turn on my laptop at home anymore, and feel really good about what I got for my money.
