Genuinely cannot understand it. They advertise constant tension but that was far from my impression of it. They feel almost no better than a set of resistance bands that you could buy for like a sixth the price. Seriously $700? What are we doing here? Further the stated weight ratings on them are well off. I had a cable loading pin and pulley which I could compare it to side by side. It was not even close to the stated poundages. All the discs together are supposedly 55 lbs. But that felt much closer to 40 lbs. Again, comparing it side by side to actual weight plates and a pulley hanging from the same bar. The only thing I wonder is if I somehow got a bad unit or something. These things get amazing reviews all over the internet and I just don't understand it. The item I received was not worth $100 to say nothing of $700. Finally I have to say adding and taking off the little resistance puck things is kind of a pain. I wanted something that would be easy to set up and take down so I can get into my workout quickly. I didn't find these to be that at all. Summing it up, I think these things have almost no redeeming qualities when you compare dollar for dollar against similar products in the market such as quality resistance bands, and inexpensive loading pin and pulley setups.
