The SwaddleMe Pod may be used from 0-3 months, 5-12lbs., or up to 26". **Q: Do you still need to wrap baby in a blanket or is the pod sufficient for keeping warm?** A: It depends on the climate where you live and the time of year. Previously I bought the one with Velcro which is bigger and that material is not as good as these pods although they are the same brand. But these pods really are a treat to baby skin and I feel confident to put my newborn in it.
