Farenheit VST V-81ACRD OEM Upgrade Multimedia Navigation System for Honda Accord 2008 - 2011

Everything works as expected, The UI is kinda outdated thats why I chose the planet version which is more tolerable than the Nesa city version. To hear the GPS through your speakers you'll need to run an aux cable from the unit to the aux input in your arm rest, and set the audio to sound mix in the setup menu. The common problems I saw so far are similar to the ones on (drive accord dot com) if you did your research.1 .Maps can't be updated.2. 72 degrees default on startup.3. Ex-L hands freelink isn't integrated with the unit, so basically you have the bluetooth fighting over each other.I purchased the unit and the backup camera on amazon for $200, which is not bad price at all and had it installed at best buy, I also added the aux extension and usb extension.The unit is worth every penny especially for the backup camera because here in NY parking is very tight and being able to play music through bluetooth, which the factory system doesn't allow for some reason.

I have a 2008 Honda Accord and decided to put another screen and I regret buying this one. Sometimes when I turn on the car the screen doesn't work. I put the switch inside my glove compartment just in case I need to turn on and off manually after many attempts. As you can see in the picture I also have pixel problem. It's a nice screen specially when I wanted to have two screens in my car one for back up camera and GPS and the other one for movies etc...Don't buy this unit. If you do, do it at your own risk.

It worked for few minutes after installing and when I started navigation it displayed loading progress bar multiple times and after that stuck in flashing message "booting checksum error, please emergency upgrade". This message does not go even when car ignition is off, draining battery.Update: Found this fix on forums. It requires software upgrade:[...]

First of all this isn't the Farenheit model. It is just the VST one. There are two clocks and I can't figure out how to set the clock on "trip" it just sits there and blinks at me. The nav also worked only one time and then it grayed out and was unclickable. When it was fully functioning it was great. The screen is clear and changes the whole look of the car. If someone figured how to fix it that would be awesome.

It fits perfectly, so it looks to be OEM, the rear view cam works good, so does the bluetooth, the gps is old, but it works, the one thing i am dissapointed of, is the usb connection does not connect, nor charge my iphone.

Update: this also does plug and play into the 2009-2014 Acura TSX non tech packages. You just need to buy the 2009-2014 Acura TSX navigation screen then do a little customization here and there for it to fit. The screen fits directly into the shroud. All oem features work, Ac work, Bluetooth work, USB, aux, you name it work. The only thing is a bit hard is when installing it in a tsx, it's a very tight fit. The seller is a very good communicator and a plus for him. If this wasn't discontinued then I would buy more. Here's a photo of my 2012 Acura TSX with this Fahrenheit unit.

Garbage. Failed out of the box. 3 hours of labor later, it was returned. Tech support horrible. Never again.

I had to updated it and stil has problems booting up, but works, just have to turn it on and of a few times, when it works is nice.
